BEVERLY M. PUESCHNER, 84, a long time Marshfield resident, passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 2, 2016 at Patriot Place Assisted Living in Berlin, WI.

Bev was born on September 11, 1931 in Elcho, Wisconsin, to Edwin and Evelyn (Bouvat) Ludovic . She attended both Sacred Heart and St. John's Catholic schools, graduating from Marshfield Senior High School in 1950. She was united in marriage to Eugene J. Pueschner on June 14, 1952 at St. John's Catholic Church in Marshfield.

Bev was employed at Marshfield Book and Stationary, Marshfield Bonded Collection and then at Marshfield Savings and Loan until her retirement. In 1980 she received the National Secretaries Association Secretary of the Year Award, an award that she was exceptionally honored to have received.

Bev was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Christian Mothers and served on the Parish Council for a number of years. She was a strong supporter of Columbus High School and Catholic education, serving on many committees.

Her enthusiasm for life didn't diminish once she retired. Both Bev and Gene enjoyed the companionship and conversations experienced with friends and family during “breakfast at the Patio”. She loved growing flowers and was especially proud of her roses. When fall rolled around you could find her at the fair collecting one of the many blue ribbons she received for her watercolor paintings and houseplant entries. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She became an avid basketball, track, soccer, dance and gymnastics fan, cheering on her grandchildren.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband Gene and their children, Jody (Bill) McConnell and Sherree Vanden Boogaard, all of Oshkosh, Shane (Mary) Pueschner of Madison, a daughter-in-law, Irene Pueschner of Marshfield; 8 grandchildren, Jason McConnell, Ian (Jill) McConnell, Kellen (Joe) Stellmacher, Ashley (Jacob) Bartol, Colin Pueschner, Ross Pueschner, Erin Pueschner, Caitlin Pueschner and 8 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Phyllis (Paul) Waterman of Marshfield, niece Michelle (John) Seebruck, nephew LeRoy (Janine) Johnson, sister-in-law Genevieve Pueschner of Wausau and many Pueschner nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eric, son-in-law, James Vanden Boogaard and special aunt Geraldine Ludovic Lang.

Bev's family would like to thank the wonderful and caring staff at Patriot Place and Affinity Hospice. We will always remember everything you did for her. A special thank you to Father David Greenfield of All Saints Catholic Church in Berlin for the peace and comfort you provided her. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Thanks mom for loving us so deeply and showing us how to live life to the fullest. We love you and you will be forever in our hearts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield with visitation taking place from 10:00 am until the time of service. Father Savarimuthu Selvaraj will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at a later date. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Memorials may be designated in her name to Sacred Heart Parish or Columbus High School.
