Age 60, daughter of the late Richard and Esther Guth.

She worked at Seaway Manufacturing for 40 years in various management positions. She was also employed part-time by the Erie County Convention Center, enjoying the opportunity to make new friends and attend many varied events. Linda was a lifelong, active member of St. James R.C. Church. She always volunteered to bake and work at the annual summer festival, and since 2004, she baked dozens of cookies each month for the Emmaus Soup Kitchen. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Erie Otters fan. She enjoyed craft fairs and dining out.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rich Sobczak.

Linda is survived by her sister, Nancy Guth (Max Read); sisters-in-law, Dar Sobczak and Marilyn Simmons; brothers-in-law, Raymond Sobczak and Norman Sobczak (Edna); cousins, John Kaliszewski (Mary Alice), and Dean Falletta; nephews, Raymond Sobczak (Melinda) and their daughter, Jesse Sobczak, Shawn Sobczak, Jay Sobczak, Douglas Sobczak (Christine), and Christopher Sobczak (Sue); and close friends, Laura and Dan Finn, Joanne Werth, Joy Sherred, Liz and Dick Kubiak and Mary Kuhar.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
