Richard was a member of St. James RC Church and was an avid enthusiast of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was employed with General Electric Co.
He is survived by his wife Linda Guth Sobczak, his mother, two brothers: Norman Sobczak and his wife Edna of West Springfield, PA, Raymond Sobczak Jr. and one sister Darlene Sobczak and partner Marilyn Simmons all of Erie, his beloved pet dog Elvis and many dear friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Interment Calvary Cemetery.
