Stephen Macian, 75, Annville, died Saturday, December 2, 2006,

at Good Samaritan Hospital.


He was the husband of Dora J. Mariani Macian with whom

he celebrated his 51st wedding anniversary with in June 2006.


Born in Harrisburg January 17, 1931, he was the son of the late

Steffon and Elana Macian.


He retired from Lebanon VA Medical Center and Annville-Cleona High School.


He was a 1949 graduate of William Penn High School in Harrisburg where he excelled

in sports. He played semi-professional football and was a track and field athlete.


He was a member of Navy Club of Lebanon-Ship 91, Rescue Social Club of Lebanon, and was a lifetime member of Harrisburg High School Athletic Association.

He enjoyed gardening, and watching horse racing and football.


He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of

St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville.


Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Corinne Macian-Graaf, wife of Daniel Graaf of Lebanon, and Stephanie Thompson, wife of John P. Thompson Jr. of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Danielle and Deanna Graaf, and Kristin Thompson; several nieces and nephews.


Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday

at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville. Interment at Grand View Memorial Park.
