COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Margaret Louise Wilmoth, 79, of Cookeville will be held Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating.
Burial will follow in the Algood City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 - 8 p.m. and again from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilmoth passed away on Saturday evening, Aug. 20, 2016, in Signature Health Care Center in Algood.
She was born June 5, 1937, in Jackson County to the late Vaden and Fannie Mae Jones Allen.
Mrs. Wilmoth was a dedicated "preacher's wife" for many years. Louise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a long time member of Shiloh Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Doyle Wilmoth of Cookeville; daughter Denise Burton and husband Chris of Cookeville; son, Brian Wilmoth and wife Sherry of Cookeville; three granddaughters, Alex Burton (Blake) Taylor, Caitlin Burton and Savannah Wilmoth; brother, Harley Allen and sister, Revene Archer.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Reginald Allen, Morgan Allen and Kenneth Allen.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Happy Haven Children's Home, 2311 Wakefield Dr. Cookeville. Tennessee 39501.
