George Washington Gladhill, of Iron Springs died Thursday morning at his home at the age of 85, after a gradual failing for about a year. He was the son of the late George and Catherine Gladhill. Death was due to complications. He is survived by his wife, by three daughters, Mrs. Harvey Pryor, Cascade; Mrs. Rudisill Howe, Fairfield; by five sons, Roy and James, of Fountain Dale; Grant and Howard, of Emmitsburg, and Charles of Hagerstown. Funeral services Monday morning at 10:30 from his late residence, conducted by the Rev. Claude S Heim, of the Orrtanna Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment in Fairfield Cemetery.
