On Tuesday, Jan. 4, 1994, Hubert T.; beloved husband of the late Thelma H. (Coughenour): father of Mrs. Kimberly J. Sloane, Mrs. Elaine K. Talak, and Russell H. Bartley; brother of Mrs. Kelsie Clinedinst, Mrs. Martha Thurston and Randolph Bartley, all of Staunton, VA and eight late brothers & sisters; grandfather of Mrs. Lisa Brookman, Christopher and Jonathan Talak; great-grandfather of Karen Brookman. Friends received in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave., where services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm. Visitation with the family Thursday only 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mr. Bartley was a WWII vet of the 38th Division who received the Purple Heart with Bronze Cluster.
