Harry Canon DINSMORE passed away at the hospital in Flint, MI, Sunday, October 5 at the age of 74 years. He was a former resident of Fremont [IA]. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James King in charge. Erwen Ehrenhard will be the soloist, accompanied on the organ by Amy Hols. Burial will be in the late Cedar Township Cemetery [Mahaska Co.].

Mr. Dinsmore was born August 29, 1895 in Fremont, the son of Daniel Homer and Rachel CANON DINSMORE. He was a partner for several years with W. P. RHOADS in the Rhoads-Dinsmore grocery, which was then located where the hardware store now stands. He had lived in Flint, MI for about 35 years, and was a retired employee of the Buick Motor Co. in Flint.

He was married December 9, 1916 to Ora L. GARRETT, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jud (Eloise) BURNHAM of Los Angeles, CA and Mrs. Richard (Phoebe) CAMPBELL of Fairfax, VA; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Eloise and Phoebe had both been with their father when he entered the hospital 6 or 8 weeks ago, but had returned home. Phoebe had returned to Flint and she and Mrs. Dinsmore came to Fremont Tuesday with Deane Dinsmore of Fremont who had gone to Flint ton Sunday. Eloise planned to fly to Sioux Falls and come to Fremont with relatives from there.
