Frank Dinsmore, 79, died at 2:30 a.m., Sunday at his home in Fremont. He had been in failing health for the past 2 1/2 years. His funeral service was held this afternoon at the Fremont Baptist Church, with burial in the Cedar Township Cemetery.
The pallbearers were his six grandsons. The Community Funeral Home of Ottumwa had charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Dinsmore was born here on August 19, 1880, the son of D. H. and Rachel Dinsmore and spent his entire life in the Fremont vicinity. He was married on March 4, 1908 to May Ferguson, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Deane Dinsmore, Mrs. Roy Helm and Mrs. Chester Brostrom, all of Fremont; six grandsons; one sister, Mrs. Pearl White of Greensboro, NC; and two brothers, C. C. Dinsmore of Ottumwa and H. C. Dinsmore of Flint, Michigan.
