KALBFLEISCH, TOM, 67 of Louisville passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016.
Tom was a ’67 graduate of St. Xavier High School, an avid golfer who attended the University of Houston on scholarship and was later inducted into the St. X Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990. A graduate of the University of Louisville, Tom remained a fan of their sports programs. He was the owner operator of Cardinal Vending before retirement.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Louis John and Emma Jean (Vowels) Kalbfleisch and brother, William Joseph Kalbfleisch.
He is survived by his loving wife, Reva (Adwell) Kalbfleisch; step-children, Karen Stockton (Kevin) and Gregory Adwell (Aggie); grandchildren, Caitlyn, Hannah, Ryleigh, Logan, Branson and Tinley; as well as his sisters, Kathy Lauer (Bob), Debbie Kalbfleisch and Cheryl Kalbfleisch and a host of relatives.
Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home; 3800 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to either Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or to the St. Xavier High School Annual Fund.
