He married Mary Jane Holdright in Kingstown [now Dun Laoghaire], Co. Dublin, on 4 May 1864.

Philip Francis Little, aged 75, married, a late Judge of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland, died at his home, 6, New Brighton, Monkstown, on 21 October 1897.
The cause of death was Heart Disease of 11 years, Bronchitis of 14 days.
The informant of his death was Edward J. Little, son of the same address, who was present when he died.
