Dec. 25, 1910 he was married at Lenox to Goldie Alderson. He was preceded in death by a daughter Louise who died at 17, and a son Tom who was killed in action with the Marines in WW II.
Survivors include his widow, his mother-in-law, Mrs. Florence Minor and daughter-in-law, Ethel Brady.
Mr. Carlton was a farmer most of his life. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Creston and the Masonic Lodge of Clearfield.
Funeral services were at Benders May 29 with burial at Clearfield.
