Betty M. Kennedy, 71, of 2007 Willow St. died Sunday, June 27, 1993, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Sept. 27, 1921, in Pekin to Halac R. and Jessie Larimore Colson, she married William P. Kennedy on Sept. 22, 1970, in Cahokia. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. James (Mary Helen) Irwin of Manito; one sister, Mrs. Virgil (Helen) Watkins of Manito; and two brothers, Robert E. Colson and C. Dean Colson, both of Pekin. One daughter, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
She taught school in the Pekin area for 30 years, retiring in 1977.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
