Mrs. Taylor was 89 when she passed away. She was formerly of Oakland Park. She was the daughter of John and Retha Darsey Mitchell. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time outside and feeding the birds and squirrels. Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her father and mother and husband, W. D. Taylor; 1 brother, Robert Mitchell; 2 sisters, Ruth Spear and Johnnie Mae Baylor; and a son, James Robert Taylor. She is survived by her son, William D. Taylor and wife, Penny, of Deerfield Beach, Fl.; a daughter, Betty J. Black of Pompano Beach, Fl.; 2 grandchildren, Kim Farris and husband Greg and Jill Aycock and 6 great-grandchildren Leah, aaron, Amaris and Daniel Farris, Alex and Zac Aycock. A funeral service will be held on the 22nd at 2:00 pm at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home. Interment will follow.
