Miss Harriet Haslet, 58, died at 9 am Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Allen Brown, at Saegertown, after a brief illness, death due to stomach trouble.. She was born April 5, 1865, in Franklin, daughter of pioneer residents John and Catherine Haslet.
She left Franklin about 30 years ago, lived for considerable time in Coraopolis, and for the last three months with her sister.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Catherine Gilliland of Sarnia, Ontario; and a brother, John Haslet of Franklin.
Services will be at 10 am Wednesday in the home of a niece, Mrs. J. Walter Fenner of 423 Sixth Street, Franklin, with Rev. Dr. Martin Aigner of St. John's Church officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
