Arthur Robert Drewry, 95, of Troutville, died Friday, February 2, 1996.
He was a member of Boone Masonic Lodge #247 A.F.&A.M.
Mr. Drewry was predeceased by his wife, Annie H. Drewry; a daughter, Betty Allen, and a son, Harold Drewry.
Survivors include five daughters, Evelyn Kirkman of Portsmouth, Geraldine Gibson, Juanita Dooley, Marcella Kurz and Judy Smith, all of Troutville; two sons, Henry Drewry of New Castle and Gary Drewry of Troutville; a brother, Thurman Drewry of Roanoke; a sister, Thelma Johnson of Shawsville; 24 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 5, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Rader Troutville Chapel, with Dr. E. Ray Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
