Albert D. Amo, 78, of 8 N. Main St., died on Wednesday (10/17/1973) in Massena Memorial Hospital.

He was born on Aug. 21, 1895, in Rooseveltown, son of John and Mary LaClair Amo. He was a farmer and for years supervised farms for Niagara Mohawk Corp. He married Bernice E. Lavine in 1920.

He is survived by a son, Adolphus Amo, Syracuse; and an adopted son, William Gardner, in Connecticut; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Mary Jane) Barney, Brasher Falls; Mrs. Helen Kilkenny, Massena; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Cora Amo and Mrs. Donald (Georgiana) Wright of Massena.
