Laura Aragón, age 83, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister was born on January 12, 1933 and was called by our dear Lord on June 27, 2016.
Laura was a resident of Peña Blanca, NM.
Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Fermin and Claudia Lucero, her sisters, Sylvia Lucero and JoAnn Narvaiz, brothers, Wilfred Lucero and Fermin Lucero Jr.
Laura is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Aragón, sons, Thomas Aragón, Jimmy Aragón Jr. and Jerry Roybal, George Aragón and his fiancée, Emily Montaño and Danny Aragón and his wife, Donna, daughter, Darlene Sandoval and her husband, Gabriel and Martín Sandoval, a very special grandson who she helped raise and loved very much, her other loving grandchildren, Olivia Montoya, Angelina Sandoval, Daniel Aragón, Kimberlee Aragón and Melinda Frasco. Laura was blessed with 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Rev. Father Ramon Aragon, sister, Clarabelle Padilla, brother, CF Lucero and his wife, Teresina, brother, Phil Lucero and his wife, Bessie, brother, Isaac Lucero and his wife, Bernadette, sisters-in-law, Andrea Lucero, Deolinda Leyba and Pita Rivera and her husband, James, brother-in-law, Robert Ortiz and aunt and high school best friend, Marlene Contreras.
The family would like to give a special thank you to a very special person, Kathy Montoya who assisted, comforted and cared for Laura during her last days. We also wish to thank her very special nurse, Elsie. Thanks to the Emergency Medical Team.
Laura is loved and will be greatly missed by many.

Rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peña Blanca beginning at 10:30 a.m.
