Addie (Davis) Bagsby Prestriedge

ATHENS -- Funeral for Addie Bagsby Prestriedge, 88, of Athens was to be today at 2 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home with Arvid McGuire officiating.

Burial was to be in Legg Cemetery.

Mrs. Prestriedge died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born Oct. 17, 1913, in Jackson County to Ed Davis and Eva (Evans) Davis.

She was a homemaker and a member of Leggtown Church of Christ. She was the mother of the late Inez Bagsby.

Survivors include four sons, Leslie Bagsby of Elkmont, Robert Bagsby of Dallas and Thomas Bagsby and Henry Bagsby, both of Athens; three daughters, Rosie Lee Siler, Evelyn Bagsby and Virgina Grisham, all of Athens; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
