Zelda L. Rhone, 74, formerly of Shippensburg, died Monday in Cumberland County Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 27, 1915, in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Frank and Velva Finkey Eppley. She was the widow of Jesse Rhone, who died Oct 10, 1979.

Surviving are five brothers, Thomas Eppley of Enola, Oscar Eppley, Robert Eppley and Paul Eppley, all of Carlisle, and Sylvester Eppley of Duncannon; three sisters, Emma Brenneman, Ruth Thoman and Virginia Buchter, all of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg, with the Rev. George W. Banner officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Scotland.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
