resided in Township 137 of Stark County, per 1910 census

resided in Schefield, per 1914 & 1918 Schefield/Dickinson city directories

appointed U.S. Postmaster of Schefield, Stark County, North Dakota on July 28, 1917

He registered for the WWI draft on September 12, 1918

died at age 38

He died in the influenza epidemic in 1918.
