NORTON LAWRENCE NELSON- CLEO SPRINGS - Norton Lawrence Nelson, 81, died Sunday at Hanford, Calif. Graveside services will be at 11 am Thursday in the Square Cedar Cemetery near Cleo Springs. The Rev JD Ward will officiate. Burial is under the direction of the Fairview Funeral Home.
Nelson was born Oct 17, 1903. He had farmed in the Hanford, Calif. area for
the last 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maybell, Stratford, Calif; a son, Lawrence Nelson, Stratford, Calif, 4 dau, Fauniel Kiser, New Mexico, Thelma Vaughn and Phyllis Kitchen, both of Bakersfield, Calif and Letha O'Sullivan, Hanford, Calif; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society with the funeral home acting as custodian of the fund.
