Rev. Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor will officiate assisted by Rev. Bob Ford, pastor of St. Mark's United Methodist Church of Midland. Burial will be in Garden of Memories in Sweetwater, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born Evelyn Perryman Dec. 18, 1918, in Lindale, she had been in Mitchell County since 1942, moving to Colorado City in 1967. She married Perry Hall Bowles May 21, 1942 in Kilgore. He died Nov. 28, 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She had been a beautician and homemaker.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Leon (Doris) Dickard and Mrs. Ed (Peggy) Kemp, both of Colorado City, Mrs. Don (Frances) Smith of Sweetwater and Mrs. Frank (Ann) Ingram of Copperas Cove; a son, Bill of Rule (these children listed are not her biological children she had no children, they are children of Perry and his first wife's, they did live with Perry and Evelyn); three sisters, Ellon Burson of Colorado City, Mrs. John (Odell) Jacobs of Denton and Virginia Turner of Big Spring; a brother, Leon Perryman of Lindale; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
