Aunt Corea was a fun loving person and was dedicated to her family. She was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for her family and extended family. It was not uncommon for her to be working two jobs at a time, eventually becoming a beautician. She only had one daughter, Charlette, they were very close. Charlette's two children were the light of her life.
On December 26, 1964, Corea was Deer Hunting with Uncle Dick and one of his friends, Corea was sitting down by a tree, and the friend, shot and killed her (said he thought she was a deer). Our family was at mother's having our Family Christmas when someone came to tell us about the accident, she and mother were very close and we all loved her dearly. I know this was thought of for many years at Christmas time, and we've never again had our "Family Christmas" after Christmas.
