Virginia H. "Ginnie" Scharlow, 81 of Midland, answered the call to come home to her Lord on Monday, January 11, 2010 from the Hospice Unit of Midland Memorial Hospital. Ginnie was born June 6, 1928 to Earnest and Fannie Perryman in Lindale, Texas. She is survived by her daughter Christi Turner and grandson Justin Madrid of Midland; Also her dear friend and devoted companion of 8 years, Jim Patton of Odessa; A sister, Dell Jacobs of Little Elm, Texas and numerous nephews and nieces of East Texas. Dancing gave her great joy all of her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. A special thank you to all the caring people with Hospice. At her request, there will be no services. Memorials can be made to: Hospice of Midland, 911 W. Texas St. Funeral Services are under the direction of Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Perryman, sisters, Gertrue Cline, Corea Webster, Evelyn Bowles, Ellon Burson, and Deloris Brannon. Also preceding her in death are husbands Johnny Turner and Ted Scharlow.
