Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the American Legion, Blue Grass.
DAVENPORT, Iowa - Larry William VanBlaricome, 71, 5929 Chapel Hill Road, Davenport, died Sunday, April 18, 2010, at his home from extended health problems, with his wife, family and children at his side.
There will be no funeral service, but at his request will be cremated.
The family requests no flowers be sent.
He enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren.
He worked as an electrician until retiring from the Buffalo cement plant, Buffalo in 1991. He married Carol Jean Bird in 1957, divorced 1964. He married Ann Katherine Anderson Feb. 5, 1966, in Unionville, Mo.
He will be greatly miss by his family and friends.
His parents, George and Lena Mae VanBlaricome are both deceased.
He had five brothers, Genie, Bob, Jim, Pete and Dick and five sisters, Clara, Reta, Stella, Judy and Dorthy.
