Mrs. Levie Cumy Gardner, 70 years of age, of 832 Pacific Avenue, Rio Dell, died early Thursday morning in a Eureka hospital. She was born November 11, 1885, at Brumley, Missouri and had lived in this county and state for the past 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Addison Gardner, Rio Dell; one son, Oren Hammersley, Redcrest, California; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Najmon, Big Bar, California, Mrs. Birdie O'Hara, Hayfork, California, and Mrs. Georgia Luz, Rio Dell; and eight grandchildren, Lloyd Aldrich, Hayfork, Richard Woodworth, Raymond and William Baird, Patricia Woodworth, San Luis Obispo, Peggy Harris, Redding, Betty McCall, Davis, California, Frank A. Luz, Rio Dell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, at 1:30 p.m. at the Pierce Mortuary. Rev. Richard Reneau officiating. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
