The cause of death was Gunshot Wound, no medical attendant.
The informant of his death was Mary Geraghty, sister, of 16 Middle Gardiner Street, Dublin, who registered his death on 27 June 1916.
Joseph Geraghty is not recorded as a WW1 casualty by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
What his exact status was at the time is unclear.
An interesting observation is that the North Staffordshire Regiment were active in Dublin during the 1916 Rising.
