James E. Lyden, 58, of Manville, NJ, former resident of Oakland, Ashland, died Thursday in Veteran's Hospital at Orange, NJ, where he had been a patient since October 6.
Born in Ashland, the son of the late James and Mary Lyden, had been employed at the Potts Colliery until he moved to New Jersey 20 years ago. Mr. Lyden was a veteran of World War I.
Among his survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Bonomo and Mrs. Helen Hetherington, both of Ashland, several nieces and nephews.
