Son of James and Mary McGrail Lyden and husband to Mame Catlough Lyden

Patrick Lyden, 51, of 518 Oakland Avenue, died yes-terday afternoon at 3:55 o’clock at the Ashland State Hospital, five minutes after his arrival at the Hospital dispensary. Death was due to injuries received Wednesday night when he fell from the porch of a neighbor’s home at Oakland Avenue. A coroner’s jury will decide the cause of death at an inquest to be held later.
Mr. Lyden was born in Big Mine Run, a son of Mrs. Mary and the late James Lyden. He spent most of his life in this section.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
His wife, Mame, died six years ago and to survive are his mother, Mrs. Mary Lyden, three brothers and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Heffner, Mrs. Harold Jones, Mrs. Wil-liam Large, Mrs. Edward Hetherington, Mrs. Anthony Bonomo, John Lyden, Michael Lyden of Ashland and James Lyden of Mt. Carmel.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning from his late home on Oakland Avenue. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 o’clock in St. Joseph’s Church here and interment will be made in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. M J McDonald of Homesville is the funeral director in charge of burial. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the services.
