Joyce Laverne Carnes Ramsey, age 78, of Elkton, Maryland, formerly of Lincolnton, was a daughter to the late James Gilbert and Bertie Branton Carnes. She was preceded in death by two children, Donna Faye Ramsey and Clifford Todd Ramsey; brothers, James Newland Carnes and Richard Elliott Carnes.
Mrs. Ramsey was a 1954 graduate of Lincolnton High School and a homemaker.
Interment in Hollybrook Cemetery.
