Frank Zupanik, 68 years old, of Ekalaka, passed away at Henderson, Nev., Tuesday, April 29th.
He was born Oct. 6, 1906, at Fort Smith, Arkansas, to John and Mary Zupanik.
In 1910 he moved with his parents to the Knobbs community southeast of Baker where he grew up and received his schooling.
He was married to Myrtle Bailey at Ekalaka In 1935.
Mr. Zupanik farmed and ranched in the Baker and Ekalaka area all of his life.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. William Leone; and one son, Terry Zupanik, both of Henderson, Nev.; two brothers, John of Baker; and Henry of Kalispell; three sisters, Mary Myhre of Broadview; Mrs.Fred (Katie) Hansen of Rhame; and Mrs. Art (Emma) Meccage of Baker; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Stevenson Funeral Home. Rosary was said Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Denis Keane officiated. Burial was In St. John's Catholic cemetery.
Mrs. Herb Jundt and Mrs. Allan Wang furnished the music.
Pallbearers were George Halman, Ralph Shepherd, Ronald Shepherd, Delane Beach, Joe Lovec and Bud Chester.
The Stevenson Funeral Home was In charge of the arrangements.
