Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Dora Fabacher Menard, 96, who died on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Gale Gough from Groves, Texas, Glenda Morgan and her husband, Dee from Lafayette, Genny Perron and her husband, Errol of Carencro and Cathy Benoit of Lafayette; two sons, Robley "Sonny" Menard and his wife, Lisa of Lafayette and Ricky Menard and his wife, Gloria of Garland, Texas; one sister, Lithe Kluk and 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robley "Bris" Menard; her second husband, William R. Lyman; her parents, Leo P. Fabacher and Theresa Ann Fabacher; two sisters, Theresa Joyce Craig and Betty Diaz and two brothers, Hayes Fabacher, Joseph Fabacher.
Dora was an Avon representative for 50 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to all. Her passion was dancing and playing cards with family and friends.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
