Mrs. Violet E. Snyder, 78, of Country Club Court North, Northampton R.1, formerly of Lehighton, died Thursday in Muhlenberg Hospital Center, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Charles Snyder. They would have observed their 55th wedding anniversary on June 2.
Before retiring she was employed at Hess's Patio Restaurant, Allentown; at Penn Lace Mills, Lehighton, as an operator; and Raub's Luncheonette, Allentown.
Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Martin H. and Annie (Warner) Rex.
Survivors: Husband; sisters, Ada Brown, Edna Bonser, and Alberta, all of Lehighton, and Margaret of Bethlehem; and brother Stanley Hill of Union Township.
