MASKELL, Neb. | Gloria Joy Hangman Pfister, 85, formerly of Maskell died peacefully in her sleep on Nov. 21, 2013.

She was born in Maskell, Neb., to Albert and Inga Hangman.

Gloria was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed reading, writing, ceramics and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sisters, Pearl Peterson of Ponca, Neb., and Wanda (Vernon) Johnson of Waldron, Ark.; daughters, Angela Pfister of Bonita Springs, Fla., Rebecca (James) Dunnigan of Naples, Fla., Pamela Larson of Gray Court, S.C., and Mary (Jack) Izbicki of Naples; daughters-in-law, Betty Lou Pfister of Gainesville, Ga., and Barbara Kittinger of Gray Court; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Leroy G. Pfister; and her son, David L. Pfister of Dahlonega, Ga.
