She was the wife of the late Stewart O. Fair, Sr. Beatrice celebrated her 100th birthday on May 2nd.

Born in York, on May 2, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Anna E. (Litsinger) and Charles Summers, Sr.

Beatrice was a homemaker. She was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church. She and her husband enjoyed bowling, playing cards and traveling. She was known for her good cooking.

She leaves two sons, Ronald B. Fair and Stewart O. Fair, Jr. and his companion, Joann Stabley; a daughter, Joan L. Lehman; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Summers, Jr.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Barnes and Margaret Gladfelter and three brothers, Richard Summers, Clair Summers and Paul Summers.

Viewing will be 10 to 11 am on Tuesday at Koller Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 2000 W. Market St. in York. The service will follow at 11 am on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Her pastor, Reverend Paul Gausmann, will officiate.
