“Oleta” was born near Mulberry, Crawford County, Arkansas on July 5, 1915. At the age of five her family moved by wagon to a farm near Webber Falls, Oklahoma.

Oleta married Warren Leon Briley on April 7, 1935 in Webber Falls. Oleta followed Warren to the Hanford Reservation in 1944 with their three (3) daughters. They had their fourth daughter in Richland, Washington. They made their home in Richland and she was employed at GE, as a custodian at the Medical Arts Center, school and later became a nursing assistant.

She was an avid gardener and cook. Her chocolate gravy and biscuits were a family legend. She enjoyed golf, bowling, dice and card games, was an excellent seamstress and quilter.

Oleta was a member of the Richland Baptist Church for 45 years, where she cooked many Wednesday night dinners and later volunteered in the nursery and Sunday school class.

After the death of her husband Warren in 2004, Oleta moved to Dayton, Washington and lived with her daughter, Velma until 2012 when she moved to Brooker Rest Home in Dayton, Washington. She enjoyed celebrating her 100th Birthday with friends and family on July 5, 2015 at Dayton First Christian Church.

Oleta was preceded in death by her parents, David and Treasy Morse and many brothers and sisters. Her husband, Warren Briley 2004; daughters, Leona Folta 2012 and Louise Judkins 2014 also a grandson, Warren Grove 2011.

Oleta is survived by her daughters: Velma and Bruce Grove of Dayton, Washington; Dee and

Gale Lewis of San Diego, California; and son-in-law, Rick Folta of Pasco, Washington. Oleta was the proud grandmother of 24 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, also 5 great- great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held at Einan's Event Center in Richland on April 21st at 1:00 pm with graveside service at 2:00 pm.
