Darlington- Funeral services for William Armstrong, Sr., 84, who died Saturday after a short illness, will be held Monday.
Services will be held at 8:30 am in the farm home near here and at 9 in Holy Rosary church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Bernard Doyle will officiate, and burial will be in Holy Rosary cemetery.
Mr. Armstrong was born in Galena, Ill., but had spent most of his life on a farm near here.
Survivors are a son, William Jr., Darlington; two brothers, George and Charles, Darlington; and four sisters, Mrs. Josephine Howe, Beloit; Mrs. Alice Steffes, Minneapolis; Mrs. Mattie Fox, Beloit; Mrs. Frank Riley, Mineral Point.
The body was taken to the Steil funeral home.
