Janice Nelson Hanson, 93, passed away on April 4, 2016. She was born September 13, 1922 in Smithfield, Utah to Charles Leroy and Florence Burgess Nelson. She married Robert L. Hanson on December 17, 1943 in the Logan LDS Temple. The served two missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, one to the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission and the other to England. She loved genealogy and has a strong testimony of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, a brother, three sisters and a grandson. She is survived by her children, Jeanne and Mike Davis; Ellen and Clint Robins; Maryann and Bart Nielsen and Robert and Clarice Hanson. She has 11 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:30 am in the Providence Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:am at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.allenmortuaries.net
