Anton was born on a farm 4 miles west of St. Cloud, MN. He married Katherine Bruns of St. Augusta, Mn on 6-26-1890. Their children were: Henry (killed in Krance in 1918), William, Mary Elizabeth (Mrs. Henry Westerhouse of Melrose, MN), Rudolph, Justine (Mrs. August Holt of duluth) Victoria (Mrs. Albert Schmidt of Clearwater, MN) and Martha (Kaste). He died on his farm near the Fischer homestead.
