Paul was born April 21, 1963 in Norman, Oklahoma, to Paul Lewis McBride and Alice Anne Trice. He professed his belief in Jesus Christ through Holy Baptism at Calvary Baptist Church, Garland, Texas. He graduated from Garland High School in 1982. Longview, Texas was his home for many years. He worked for several years at Sabine Valley Workshop before moving with his mother to Spring, Texas in 2008. Even though Paul was born with challenges, he amazed everyone with all that he accomplished. He was very independent and after his father's death, he dedicated himself to do all he could to support his mother. He was a loving happy young man who found great joy in teasing and joking with everyone. His favorite activities were watching and rooting for the Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and most of all, his beloved Oklahoma Sooners.
