Amanda Rhoda Ozier was the daughter of James Reuben and Rhoda Ozier. She married David Anderson Wilson on January 27, 1864 in Montgomery County, Alabama.

Mrs. Dave A. Wilson died at her home near Ellison Ridge on the San Gabriel River, Sunday afternoon at 4:00 o'clock, aged 73 years, succeeding an illness of several months. She leaves six children, all grown, as follows: Mrs. J.M. Williams, Richland Springs; Mrs. J.F. Offield, Sharp; Mrs. J.M. Guthrie, San Gabriel; Mrs. A.A. Offield, Rockdale; J.B. Wilson and N.A. Wilson, San Gabriel. The funeral was held Monday at the Locklin Cemetery. The Reporter joins in extending sympathy to the bereaved ones.
