Cecil L Aalders,Kentville. Born in Aaldersville, he was a son of the late Henry and Bessie (Vienot) Aalders. Mr. Aalders owned and operated a saw mill for numerous years, was a prominent valley farmer, and for nine years prior to his retirement he was superintendent of highways for Kings County. Surviving are his wife, the former Bernice Huntley; five daughters: Joyce (Mrs. Conrad Dobbie), Fulton, California; Phyllis (Mrs. Gerry Milne), South Waterville; Diana (Mrs. Garth Aalders), Winnpeg; Goldie (Mrs. Harold Hills), Middleton; Beth, at home, four sons: Eric, Berwick; Dr. Lewis, Kentville; Roger, New Minas; Kenneth, at home; five brothers: Kenneth, Berwick; Paul, New York; Arnold, Berwick; Harry, Centreville; Clayton, Aaldersville; four sisters: Mrs. Annie Russell, New Ross; Mrs. Elsie Washburn, Saint John; Della (Mrs. Cecil Turner), New Ross; Theresa (Mrs. Homer Forman), Kentville; twenty grandchildren. Funeral service for the late Mr. Aalders was held Friday at 2:30 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church in Kentville, Archdeacon L. W. Mosher officiated. Interment was in the Elm Grove Cemetery. The late Mr. Aalders rested at the H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home in Kentville.
