AALDERS, Berniece Daphine - 84, North Alton, Kings County, and Italy Cross, Lunenburg County, died November 18, 1992, in South Shore Regional Hospital. Born near Halls Harbour, Kings County; she was a daughter of the late George Miriam and Eveline May (Wood) Huntley. She graduated from Kentville High School in the early 1920s. She and her husband owned and operated a sawmill and mixed farm operation in North Alton for over 20 years. She later worked at Blanchard Fraser Memorial Hospital, at the front desk until retirement and was an active member of Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Kentville. She is survived by four sons, C. Eric, Berwick and Brownsville, Texas; Dr. Lewis E., Kentville; Roger H., Timberlea; Kenneth M., Nepean, Ont.; four daughters, Joyce Evelena (Mrs. Conrad Dobbie), Fullerton, Calif.; Goldie Bernice (Mrs. Harold W. Hills), Italy Cross; Diana Faye (Mrs. Gart Aalders), Kingston; Elizabeth Ann, Kanata, Ont.; sister, Mrs. Carolina Gertrude Sawler, Cambridge, Kings County; 22 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil; daughter, Phyllis Gloria Milne; four brothers, Judson Edwin, Willis, Verge Vilroy, Harold Caswell Murray; sister, maude Jestina Keddy; a grandchild. The body was in H. C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Kentville. Funeral was held in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Mr. Raymond Bowns officiated. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
