He was a member of Bethel Christrian Church, where he was a former elder and deacon, and was a retired employee of Central Soy Co.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Kevil. The Rev. Keith Tilford will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Christian Cemetery.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Fannie Roberta Walker; one daughter and son-in-law, Ella Mae and Willard Joe Travis; one sister, Eva Mae Tilford; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. His parents were William Rueben and Rosie Mae Walker.
