Published in The Paducah Sun (McCracken Co., KY), Sun., 7 Jul 1985 - KEVIL, Ky. - Mrs. Viola Scott, 71, of Kevil Rt. 4, died at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah at 3:43 p.m. Saturday.

She was a member of Bethel Christian Church, the Woodville Homemakers Club, the Kevil chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a life-long resident of the Woodville community in west McCracken County.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in Kevil with the Rev. Chester Zimmer and the Rev. Charles Day officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Christian Church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, James Scott; a daughter, Betty Sanders of Paducah; three grandchildren; one brother, Earl Walker of Kevil; and one sister, Eva Mae Tilford of Kevil; and several nieces and nephews.
