He was a native of the Woodville community and was a member of Bethel Christian Church.

Mr. Walker was employed as a custodian of the church for many years, and of Forestdale School.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bethel Christian Church with the Rev. George Mays officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leona Walker; three sons, Allie, David and Charles Walker, all of Kevil Rt. 4; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Steinbeck of West Helena, Ark., and Miss Ida Mae Walker and Miss Shirley Walker, both of Kevil Rt. 4; a brother, Earl Walker of Kevil Rt. 4; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Tilford and Mrs. James Scott, both of Kevil Rt. 4; and two grandsons.
