Danny "Dink" Graves, age 54, of Cincinnati, Iowa, died Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa. He was born the son of Lee Duane and Joan (Dwight) Graves on August 27, 1961 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He would later graduate from the Putnam County High School in Unionville, Missouri.

Dink worked for many years at Hon Industries in Muscatine, Iowa before moving back to Cincinnati, Iowa in 1997 and working a Centerville Greenhouse. Then in 2007, he began working at Seymour Tire Shop in Seymour, Iowa. On January 17, 2007, Dink was united in marriage to his "Soulmate" Susan Starr in Centerville, Iowa. He served the Cincinnati Volunteer Fire Department for many years along side his dad, Duane. He so enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, camping or just sitting by the fire with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Duane Graves on November 28, 2012; his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Cathy Phillips on July 10, 2015; and his father-in-law, James Mullinex on November 11, 1998.

Dink is survived by: his wife, Susan Graves of Cincinnati, Iowa; his mother, Joan Graves of Cincinnati, Iowa; sons, Daniel Graves and his wife, Cindy Klaren of Dyersville, Iowa and Nicholas Graves of Dyersville, Iowa; a sister, Gayla Sue Graves of Cincinnati, Iowa; grandchildren, Caydon Duane Graves of Dyersville, Iowa, Gavin Tigges of Davenport, Iowa, Nathan and Chris Klaren of Dyersville, Iowa; along with many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Don Powless officiating. Burial will follow in the Livingston Cemetery south of Numa, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville from 2 pm until 8 pm and the family will be present from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
