He was a veteran of World War II and had worked for Holmes Lumber Company for the past 25 years. He was a member of the American Legion, No. 212, of Eureka; Elk's BPOE No. 652 of Eureka; Sons of Norway, Fram. No. 13, of Eureka; Hook and Ladder Company, Volunteer Fire Department, and Calvary Lutheran Church.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mildred Sears of Eureka; two brothers, Leif and Alfred Moe of Eureka; niece, Mrs. Jana Dombek of Eureka, and one nephew, Donald Sears of Eureka.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 3 p.m., at Sander's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roy L. Malde officiating. Private interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
