IVAN L. RICKMAN DIES; FUNERAL SET TUESDAY

Ivan Lester (Sonny) Rickman, 64 of 1201 S. Maple, Bartlesville OK died at 8 a.m. Saturday in an Oklahoma City Hospital where he had been a patient about nine weeks.

Mr. Rickman was born at Pineville, MO on October 3, 1907. He grew up at Pineville and attended schools there, before coming to Bartlesville on June 5, 1922. He worked for MK&T Railroad from 1923 until 1927 when he went to work for National Zinc Co. on January 10, 1927. He worked for National Zinc for 44 years until his retirement on March 30, 1971. He married Zora Stewart on June 5, 1930 at Pineville and they have lived at the same address in Bartlesville since 1940. Mr. Rickman was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Zora of the home; one daughter Mrs. James J Lowry, of Del City; five brothers, Phillip, Clifford and Clyde Rickman all of Bartlesville, Pearl Rickman of Dallas Texas, and Rex Rickman of Pineville, MO. and two grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Odell Carpenter of Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
